1969 SOM AsPlayed Replay and more

This blog started in 2011 with my attempt to manage the 1969 Detroit Tigers to an AL Championship. Just finished my 1987 asplayed replay (using SOM Baseball 2013 with the cards). As always I managed the Detroit Tigers and succeeded in winning the World Series. 1987 was put on hold while I 'played along' with the 2013 MLB season, so it took over a year to complete. 2013 MLB 'Playalong'

I've just finished my annual MLB playalong season and the Atlanta Braves were crowned 2013 MLB Champions. The Braves swept my AL Champion Detroit Tigers in the World Series. Detroit got good pitching in the series, but the bats went silent as Atlanta won the 4 games by scores of: 3-0, 4-1, 4-3, and 6-0. Congratulations go out to the Atlanta Braves, 2013 MLB Playalong Champions! I'll soon be resuming my 1987 asplayed replay. As of July 9, 1987, my Detroit Tigers hold a 2 game lead on 2nd place Toronto.
