June 29, 1969 Detroit at Baltimore Game 2

The Baltimore Orioles were able to salvage the last game of their 4 game series against the Detroit Tigers by winning a wild, back and forth battle 11-8. The win prevented the Tigers from sweeping the series and increased the Orioles division lead to 2.5 games. Baltimore mounted a 16 hit attack against Detroit's pitchers but the Tigers kept coming back. The lead changed hands 5 times before Jim Hardin got the win with some good work out of the bullpen and Eddie Watt closed out the game for his 10th save of the season.
