Brooks Robinson ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Jim Palmer was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at Comiskey Park
as the Baltimore Orioles, running on all cylinders, ripped the Chicago White
Sox by a large 21 to 2 margin.

Robinson was really in 'the zone'. He hit a bases-empty home run in the 3rd
inning, lined a one-base hit in the 6th inning, ripped a solo home run in the
8th inning, slapped a base-hit which scored a run in the 9th inning and
tripled scoring a run in the 9th inning. Baltimore lit up the scoreboard in
the 9th inning with 10 runs on 9 hits. The Baltimore offense poured it on,
scoring in 8 of the 9 innings.

Palmer(7-3) allowed 2 runs on the game. Tommy John(7-7) was the loser. He got
hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
